It's been a while since a set review, so let's take a look at 7780 - The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc . This set was released in 2006 and originally sold for US$20. As a build, I personally am not a huge fan of this set. It seems overly dependent on large single-use elements. The little Bat-jetski speeder is an okay play feature, but I think if they hadn't included this they could have made the boat itself much cooler. The coolest thing about this set is the Killer Croc fig, which is great (and Batty, but presumably someone buying this set already had a couple of him). This set is also notable for including two realistic guns. For many years before this, LEGO had refused to create realistic guns in modern themes (there were both pistols and rifles in the Wild West theme, and of course all kinds of muskets, cannons, swords, spears, and other weapons etc in other historical themes). I think this was one of the first sets to go against this policy (though LEGO still says this is a fantasy theme, and they don't make modern military sets).
You can see the instructions on LEGO.com, the inventory on Peeron, or purchase it on BrickLink.
